ZotAbility - Eliminate, Eradicate, and Obliterate Stereotypical Thinking about Disability
At the University of California, Irvine, providing a culture of inclusion and equal opportunity for students with disabilities is a campus wide responsibility and commitment. UCI demonstrates its core values of individual growth, development, civility, and diversity by recognizing students with disabilities as an important part of its student body. Our mission is to empower students to maximize their abilities to thrive in today’s global community.
DSC helps students with print disabilities access textbooks and course material in alternative formats. This might include audio, electronic text (etext), or other digital file formats.
DSC provides RRR to students with mobility issues, to help them get to and from classes. Once registered and approved for the service, students can reserve rides.
If you have questions or comments about DSC or accessibility at UCI, call, email, or drop by our office!
There are many resources on and off campus for UCI students. The Student Health Center has an extensive list of resources and services for you to explore!
